The Michigan Horticultural Therapy Association (MHTA) strives to promote the use of horticulture as therapy throughout the state of Michigan. Our members are involved in this goal in a variety of ways. Each of us continues the pioneering work of Michigan‘s Alice W. Burlingame.

MHTA MISSION STATEMENT

The Michigan Horticultural Therapy Association will promote and encourage state and regional interest in the development of horticulture and related activities as a therapeutic and rehabilitative medium.

MHTA GOALS

1. To support programs that utilize horticultural therapy in Michigan
2. To promote horticultural therapy educational opportunities in Michigan
3. To promote acceptance of horticultural therapy
4. To strengthen the organizational structure of MHTA

MHTA Scholarship Fund
I wish to contribute to the Scholarship Fund
to help Michigan Horticultural Therapy Association members
obtain further education in horticultural therapy.
